The brief

Armed with 20 years’ industry experience and a successful SME food & drink marketing agency, our client loves to get new independent and artisan brands in the hands of consumers. With Covid putting paid to food festivals and in-store sampling, she saw space for a subscription box with a difference. The B2C brand identity would align with her agency, The Taste Tree, appealing primarily to females, aged 35-55, with family at home, wanting to discover delicious treats and be part of a community.

The solution

We created a brand akin to its customers – classy, caring and conscientious. Connecting with The Taste Tree, it uses the same typeface in lowercase to make it friendly and approachable. Encased in a sketched box fit for postage and finished with a hand-drawn leaf to add a touch of femininity and nod back to its roots. Colours were refined to be more palatable for this delectable brand, and a suite of illustrations were developed to allude to the surprise contents. Taste Treats is already gaining momentum amongst foodies, earning a loyal following of subscribers and adding gifting to its offering.
